Chat Box NewsM Sisters Dead!
With the death of Mythic Sisters of the Moon last Thursday, another ToS boss bites the dust and <Final> is now 4/9!
We spent a good solid two weeks of progression on Mythic Sisters, with all of our reclears going very smoothly. We made good strides on this fight right from the get go. The spacing strategy required to manage Astral Purge isn't too tricky to pull off and we mostly mastered that after the first 2 or 3 hours on the boss. After that, the rest of the fight was just spent on figuring out our ideal comp, planning cooldowns, and learning to dodge glaives. Learning to dodge SO MANY glaives. All of the glaives in that fight are especially dangerous, even the simple Twilight Glaives, so mastery of that mechanic was our biggest stumbling block. We finally managed to clean up our execution and got a clean pull in, until the very end where the boss died with about 5 players up. This is another fight I really like. There aren't a lot of changes from the main fight, but every original mechanic is given so much more importance and becomes so critical to deal with. The fight gets really hectic and there is something to be said against how many particles are in play at once, making dodging the glaives much harder, but once you learn how to see through the noise and hug some walls, it's not that bad. Definitely a fight I'm excited to do again.
We're doing great on the picture front lately, so here's another one of those:
We do have some footage for this kill, but I need to get around to editing it and I just haven't been in a video editing mood lately. We're moving on to Desolate Host next, and we'll see how that goes!
Remember kids, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a glaive!Mythic Demonic Inquisition Down!
Well, that was fast! After clearing out Mythic Harjatan two weeks ago, we promptly went into ToS and downed Mythic Demonic Inquisition!
We got through our reclear very, very fast, 3 shotting Harjatan and then started attempts on M DI on Tuesday. We honestly set out to some good progress, getting the boss to around 30% HP that first night. On Thursday, we came in, more determined than ever, and managed to get M DI after about 9 pulls or so, on what was a remarkably clean pull. Once we mastered the mechanics and severely limited our Torment, the entire fight became a piece of cake. This is another fight I'm a big fan of. The changes to it are very minimal, but hugely impactful. It makes learning the fight very easy, but you do have to change your strategy a bit from Heroic and need to tighten up your play considerably. Any sloppiness that slides in Heroic is promptly punished. I think this boss is a great example of how to transition an entry-level heroic boss into an entry-level mythic boss. I also like the mechanics in general and think they are at least relatively novel.
We absolutely outdid ourselves here and... remembered to take a screenshot! Here it is:
Unfortunately, we did not get footage of this kill. It was streamed on some guild Twitch's, so I'll try to track it down.
I also don't have the Mythic Harjatan video because... I got lazy. The Hearthstone NA Championships and the Mythic Dungeon Invitational were last weekend and I also bought PUBG, so... that ate up a lot of my time. I'll get to it though!
Apologies for this post being late, but the site was down all weekend and I just now go back to writing for it after it got up.M Harjatan Down!
After a hard month's work, mostly wiping to Mythic Goroth, we have finally downed Mythic Harjatan!
While this fight isn't particularly hard, we wasted a week or so trying out Mythic Demonic Inquisition and, I cannot stress this enough, have spent a massive amount of time wiping to Mythic Goroth (rather unfortunately). After about 3 nights of progression and 50 or so wipes, the massive fish finally fell. All in all, I really like this fight. It's short and very fast-paced, with a 5 or 6 minute enrage timer. It's a tight DPS check, while also being a decent mechanics and healer check. Hell, even the tanking on this fight isn't super easy and is incredibly bursty, requiring tight cooldown management (the only deaths we had on our kill were myself, twice).
This time around, Necessities managed to grab a screenshot before we finished looting and despawned the boss' corpse. However, this wasn't coordinated and Xevion isn't even on screen, but I swear he was there, so we just edited him in. Enjoy!
We do have footage for that kill, so expect a video sometime later this week. And yes, this news post is... quite late. Harj fell very early Thursday night, but I just spaced on writing it. My bad!
M Goroth Kill Video
Short and sweet post, but I made a kill video:

M Goroth Down + H KJ Video!
We've finally made our mark in Mythic ToS by downing Goroth!
This post is a bit late, as the kill occurred last Thursday night (8/10), but I did my normal thing and just forgot to make a post about it. Honestly, this boss gave us more trouble than I think a lot of us expected and would have liked. It's showed us that M ToS is a bit more aggressive than M NH was and we need to shape up our mechanical skills. At the end of the day, I'm very proud of the raid that came together and was able to down this beast. We have a bright future ahead of us and it's time to look forward to downing M DI!
Here's your kill screenshot (Goroth despawned almost instantly, so enjoy the pit):
In other news, the Heroic Kil'jaeden kill video is up, as promised. You can find it below:
Big congrats to the team on that kill in particular. We'll have a kill video out for M Goroth in the next few days to a week.
